The Laminator is the equipment that performs the encapsulation of solar cells into the PV glass with the help the polymerization of encapsulation materials of the laminate ¨C usually the EVA.
This step is carried out under temperature about 150℃ and vacuum to avoid any presence of gas bubbles in the module.
Lamination quality should ensure adherence of the different layers of the laminate during the desired lifetime of the module.
The laminator should ensure good repeatability of this lamination as well as maintenance and operating costs low. |
